Terms of Service Guide
Introduction
This guide outlines the standard terms and procedures for engaging ARC Electrical Contractors for electrical services, home networking, and smart home technology installations. It's designed to be a clear and practical guide for our clients, covering what to expect when working with us. This guide supplements, and does not replace, any formal contract or agreement entered into for specific projects. In the situation that a signed contract exists, the contract is the official document.
1. Getting Started
Initial Inquiry: You can contact us through our website (https://www.arcje.com), by phone, or by email (info@arcje.com) to discuss your needs. Please provide as much detail as possible about your project or requirements.
Consultation & Quote: We'll typically schedule a consultation (either on-site or remote, depending on the project) to assess the work required. Following this, we'll provide a written quote outlining the scope of work, materials, estimated timeline, and total cost.
Acceptance: To proceed, you'll need to formally accept the quote. This can be done by signing and returning a copy of the quote, or by providing written confirmation via email. This acceptance forms a binding agreement for the outlined services. for smaller jobs that don’t require a full quote, you are agreeing to these terms when booking for the work to be carried out

Detailed Project Plan (Schedule A): For larger projects, we'll provide a detailed "Schedule A" document. This will outline specific tasks, materials, timelines, and any other relevant project details. This Schedule A becomes part of our agreement.
Changes to Scope: If you need to change the scope of work after the quote is accepted, please let us know as soon as possible. We'll provide a revised quote reflecting the changes. All changes must be agreed upon in writing (email is acceptable) before we proceed with the altered work.
3. Timelines & Communication
Project Start & Completion: We'll agree on a start date and an estimated completion date. We strive to meet these deadlines, but unforeseen circumstances (e.g., material delays, unexpected issues discovered during the work) can sometimes cause delays.
Regular Updates: We'll keep you informed of the project's progress, especially if there are any significant changes or delays. We encourage open communication and are available to answer your questions throughout the project.
Delays: If delays occur that are outside of our control (e.g., adverse weather, client-requested changes), we'll discuss a revised timeline with you and document it in writing.
